Canned hunting is the hunting of captive lions in confined areas they cannot escape.

Each year, MANY lions are bred in captivity and used for their bones which eventually get sold and used for traditional medicines.

Due to SA canned industry, the lions born into this go on to live in filthy cages where they're left hungry and abandoned. This is why support is needed today!

These lions are kept in unknown facilities and used every stage of their lives.

In the canned lion industry, volunteers are recruited to help hand-rear captive-bred lion cubs under the false impression that they will eventually be released into the wild. People take selfies whilst with cubs or walking lions.

Ultimately, many of the animals will face their fate and this is the sad reality.
